Our Story

Versed in Baseball started with a question in our own home:

Who are we really playing for?

We watched our son grow in talent and confidence on the field. The stats improved. The recognition came. But along with it came something heavier — pressure to perform, to impress, to measure his worth by numbers and applause.

And we felt the shift.

Because baseball is a gift.
Talent is a gift.
But the Giver comes first.

We didn’t want his identity tied to a batting average or a highlight reel. We wanted it anchored in something unshakable.

Our foundation became Colossians 3:23:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for man.”

That verse reframed the game for our family.

Play hard.
Train with excellence.
Compete with intensity.

But do it for Him.

Versed in Baseball was born from that conviction. Not as just another Instagram page. Not as a blog that gets scrolled past. But as something you can wear — a declaration over your life and your game.
